Overview

This is the video driver for 3Dfx Voodoo Banshee 16-megabyte (MB) SGRAM 2X AGP video card.

Installation

Download the file to the desktop, and then follow these steps.

1. Double-click the 7504877.exe file.

2. The Win-Zip Self-Extractor window opens, and the files are unzipped to c \cabs\7504877.

3. Close all open programs.

4. From the Start menu, click Run. In the Run dialog box, type c \cabs\7504877\setup.exe. Press the ENTER key.

5. The setup program starts. Follow on the on-screen instructions.

Note If you are prompted to overwrite any files, click Yes to all.

6. When prompted, restart the computer.

Removal

1. From the Start menu, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.

2. In Control Panel, double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon.

3. In the Add/Remove Programs Properties dialog box, click 3Dfx Voodoo Banshee, and then click Add/Remove.

4. In the ATI Uninstall dialog box, click Yes.

5. Click Yes to restart your computer.

Troubleshooting

1. Verify that all cables are securely connected.

2. Verify that the video card is fully seated in the AGP or PCI expansion slot.

3. Set your display adapter to Standard VGA. See the Removal section of this document for the steps to do this, and then reinstall the driver using the installation procedure. Verify that you do not miss any of the steps.

4. Try running GoBack, if available.
