I have a Compaq 1800XL380 running Windows 2000 and I found the Driver for the ATI Rage M3 Mobility on DELL's support pages for their Inspiron 5000e which uses the same Chipset,

Works great on everything from DVD to Photoshop. DELL has another driver on their site, but I had NO need to test another after finally finding one that works fine.
