Operating System: Windows 95 (Note: might work with other versions of this os.)
DC30 series driver update
If you have an older version of the DC30 / DC30 Speed / DC30 plus/ DC30 PRO drivers already installed, please make sure that the old drivers and registry entries are removed before you install these new drivers. Depending on the DC30 driver version that was previously installed, it may NOT be sufficient to just run the DC30 series deinstaller - some old files may remain in the system, causing instabilities. Therefore, please see the use the following procedure to completely remove any previous driver installation from your system (Win95 / 98 / 98SE only):
1)Run the miro Uninstall program.
i.e.Start-> Programs-> miroVideo DC30-> miroUninstall.( at the end of the Uninstall program choose RestartWindows Later.)
2)Go to the Device Manager under the System Properties Window.
i.e. Start-> Settings-> Control Panel-> System-> Device Manager under Sound Video and Game Controllers, select the listing for the DC30 series or DC30plus (if present) and Remove it.
3)Close the Device Manager. Win95 / 98 / 98SE/ ME may prompt you to restart the computer.
DO NOT RESTART (If you do, you must go back to step #1 and start over.)
4)Go to Shutdown and select the option Restart the Computer in MS-DOS Mode.
Go to the windows-system directory. (at the prompt type: cd c:\windows\system <enter>)
5)Delete all DC30 series files. (at the prompt type: del dc30*.* <enter>)
6)Delete all MIRO files. (at the prompt type: del miro*.* <enter>)
7)Delete all MISI files. (at the prompt type: del misi*.* <enter>)
8)Delete mmaviax.dll. (at the prompt type: del mmaviax.dll <enter>)
9)Delete capcdc.dll. (at the prompt type: del capcdc.drv <enter>)
10)Change to the c:\windows folder. (at the prompt type: cd \windows <enter>)
11)Delete c:\windows\pinnacle folder. (at the prompt type: deltree pinnacle <enter>)
12)Return to Windows 95/98/98SE/ME. (at the prompt type: win <enter>)
Win9x will display that New Hardware has been Detected and will ask for the manufacturer's drivers
